Due to an unforseeable emergency, the presenter will not be available to present Plebian Prose on September 18th.

The essays in Plebian Prose explore how sex and the politics surrounding it jostle with questions of queer identity within Latin American culture. They reflect the author's street-level reading of the French cultural theorist, Giles Deleuze, considering the situations of sexually and/or economically marginalized people.
